Rosewood Residences Headlines South Beach with $150M Penthouse
South Beach's next headline address is taking shape. Rosewood Residences, developed by Michael Shvo in partnership with Deutsche Finance Group and designed by Peter Marino, is part of a 3-acre master development anchored by the historic Raleigh Hotel, acquired in 2019 alongside the Richmond and South Seas Hotels for $243 million combined.
The 17-story building holds only 44 residences, managed under Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and is headlined by a $150 million penthouse, among the highest single-unit prices anywhere in this market.
How Rosewood Residences Fits Into South Beach's Luxury Market
South Beach's trophy-tower tier already includes Continuum's twin-tower South Pointe presence, Five Park's record height as the tallest building in Miami Beach, and The Carlyle's historic 1941 Art Deco scale on Ocean Drive. Rosewood Residences enters at the very top of that tier, both in scarcity, just 44 units, and in headline pricing, while its historic hotel foundation gives it a different pedigree than the area's newer construction.
